Substrates for early stages of plant development

Fine-structure mix for germination, for trays and blocking, for manual and automatic filling. This is the mix for growing young vegetable and ornamental plants from seed. The peat moss has been screened, the particle size is 0-7 mm. The structure of the substrate is suitable for automatic filling of trays. Suitable for a wide range of vegetables, flowers, bedding plants, indoor plants, trees, ornamental plants. The substrate is made of 100% natural, a little decomposed milled peat moss of Latvian origin, with high buffering ability, water and air porosity, it is pest and weed-free.

Substrates for general potting

Medium-structure mix for potting, for manual and automatic filling. This is the mix for growing vegetable and ornamental plants. The peat moss has been screened, the particle size is 0-20mm. The structure of the substrate is suitable for automatic filling of pots. For root aeration and better water absorption the substrate includes in majority white peat and a small part of black peat for tenaciousness and for inhibiting water evaporation. pH of the substrate is adjusted to 5.2-6.0. For better rewetting, the substrate includes wetting agent. This substrate can be used in greenhouses, as well as for open-air plant production. The substrate includes starter fertiliser with trace elements, nutrient level is average to meet the needs of a very wide choice of plants.

Coarse structure substrates for nursery stock.

Extra coarse substrate for potting is a universal transplanting substrate suitable for a wide range of indoor plants, trees, ornamentals. This mix is suitable for long term cultivation in medium and large pots and containers. The substrate is made of 100% natural, a little decomposed milled peat moss of Latvian origin. Substrate is with excellent water resistance, buffering ability, water and air porosity, it is pest and weed-free. The coarse structure increases the aeration of the growing roots and enhances the stability of structure thus enabling longer growing in the same substrate. The mix is with neutral pH, includes short term NPK fertiliser with trace elements and wetting agent for easier initial irrigation.
